10 Blogs in 10 Days - Day 1 - 2 Handled Mugs

Hello everyone! I'm now almost halfway through the Natwest/ RBS Accelerator programme and there has been a LOT to think about and consider regarding Rosa Lifestyle. One (of the many) aspects that needs some work is keeping in touch with you all. So I've set myself a challenge, and one that I'll actually really enjoy - I'm going to challenge myself to write 10 blogs in 10 days!!!
Let’s start at the beginning as it’s been a while. Hello! I’m Sarah and Rosa Lifestyle is my business. I design and sell stylish everyday living aids to support everyone to continue living independently and with confidence. I decided to go for it and kickstarted my business in January 2021. Not that you’d know it but I spent the whole year learning and setting up the supply chain, working through designs and shapes, setting up everything internet-based, working through a whole load of paperwork and getting everything ready to begin selling – which I did, on Amazon, in January 2022. (Don’t get me started on the work involved to be able to sell on Amazon….)
I started with only 2 designs of my 2 handled mugs – a white mug with a blue and yellow geometric border and a peach-coloured mug with a peach and green foliage border. I love the warm yet fresh peach colours which contrast nicely with the more neutral offering of the white mug. These 2 designs were soon joined by my yellow mug with a blue and yellow floral border and my lilac mug with a lilac foliage border. I didn’t know which colour was going to prove to be the most popular, but oh my goodness, you all love the lilac!! My initial colours, which I’m going to call my Classic collection, were soon given a run for their money with the first instalment of my Animal collection. I currently have a Charming Cats design and a Dapper Dogs design. Always on the lookout for ways to save a bit of cash, I’ve used my two cats – Hamish and Oscar – as the models for the Charming Cats mug and I’ve used my sister’s dog – Sizzle – as one of the models on the Dapper Dogs design (don’t worry they got some extra treats as a wee reward!...I think Sizzle gets these every day anyway!). But! I hear you cry, surely there’s going to be more than 2 mug designs in the Animal collection? Don’t worry everyone, there’s 2 more designs on the way! Hurrah I hear you all shout in relief (:D ok, a bit of artistic (writers?) licence here but yes! There are 2 more designs coming soon that may or may not feature toads, badgers, sheep and Heilan Coos!!!! Honestly – they’re amazing and I can’t wait to share them with you all soon!
Right, after wondering if I’d find it difficult to write, I’ve discovered that nope, like when chatting over a cuppa, I have no difficulties in yakking on…until tomorrow…..!
