Scottish Edge

In October, Rosa Lifestyle ventured into new territory by participating in the Scottish Edge pitching competition. Surpassing our expectations, we secured a spot in the semi-finals during our first attempt, marking a notable achievement for our burgeoning enterprise. It was an eventful month, juggling intricate application forms and crunching numbers on spreadsheets, all culminating in a nerve-wracking yet exhilarating pitch presentation to the discerning panelists.

Throughout this process, we gained invaluable insights and lessons. The meticulous preparation and rigorous questioning from the panelists served as catalysts for our growth and development, enhancing our understanding of our own mission and goals. The experience was a testament to our resilience and determination, instilling within us a profound sense of pride for reaching this milestone in our initial foray into the competition circuit.

One significant development during this period was our collaboration with Circular Design Synergy, a sustainability consultancy renowned for its expertise in transforming business supply chains into circular, consumer-centric, and transparent models. This partnership is pivotal for us as we look to embrace sustainability as a core value. Circular Design Synergy's guidance aligns seamlessly with our commitment to ethical practices and innovation, propelling us toward a more sustainable future - but more on this later!

Looking forward, our enthusiasm remains undiminished. We are eagerly gearing up to re-enter the next competition cohort, aiming to secure a place in the finals. The experience gained from our initial attempt fuels our determination to refine our pitch and showcase our innovation and dedication on a grander scale.

Our journey continues with an unwavering focus on innovation, quality, and sustainability. We're immensely grateful for the support received thus far and excited about the opportunities on the horizon. As we move forward, bolstered by our partnership with Circular Design Synergy and the lessons learned from our Scottish Edge experience, we are steadfast in our pursuit of excellence and importantly, a more sustainable future.
